I think the best upgrade could be to compartmentalize (I couldn't find a better word right now) the comments on the threads. Because it is difficult to keep track of conversations. Each new comment goes to the bottom, even if we reply someone specific.
So if we reply to someone, that comment should go below theirs, and new comments go to the bottom of the comments section.
