Lisa B. Mark Yes, The Americans is a great series! Did you watch all the seasons? I still think Homeland is the most brilliant series in this genre.
Mark Lisa B. I haven't watched Homeland but it is on my list for the next "I have nothing else I have to watch" Right I am watching The Pitt. I was an ER watcher way back in the day and this show is absolutely riveting for me.
Mark Lisa B. The episode they released yesterday I swear was five minutes long, it was just so intense. I was upset that it was over. Definitely a very "real" look at an ER but what makes the show is not blood but the characters. Although, on reddit I heard it referred to as "excellence porn" where you derive pleasure at watching people doing amazing things, even when some of them are mistakes.
Lisa B. Mark That sounds perfect because I can't watch gory medical shows, but this sounds more character focused. And it has a super high 8.6 rating on IMDB! "Excellence porn" would also describe the series, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
