Andrea We used Embark (https://embarkvet.com/) and I don't remember what it cost, want to say like $100. They send you out a swab and you just swab their cheek much like I imagine you do for 21 and me or whatever.
Even though I did it, it was largely my idea, I think it is a stupid way to spend money. But it was interesting to see and they do provide a lot of analysis about health (none of which I really believe). They do give you a list or "relatives" and send the occasional email about a close "relative" but the highest she has is like 30% which I think I would not be surprised to find out is just slightly higher than any other random dog.
But I can't argue the matches. Her tail is spot on Malamute feather duster, her coloring is almost perfectly rott but the fur is definitely some cold weather dog (and there is a lot of it, I could send you some if you like). She has a table she goes and lays on and it was covered in ice for about a week (not to mention lows in the negatives) and she would just lay on the pile of snow and ice.
