I feel misunderstood today. Scrolling through the RFP lists on Upwork today, I came across (for the umpteenth time) two client search 'trends':
- requests for 'good' rates ('GOOD RATES AND QUALITY SERVICE WILL ENSURE A REGULAR FLOW OF WORK'), and
- hourly jobs with a request to send a 'fixed-price' quote (which effectively adds a step to the hiring process).
Why do clients think our rates are ... unjustified? Why are clients finding it so hard to accept bidding?
