Which book are you reading now a days?
Thanks to my kid I'm still reading books. We're currently racing through "The Famous Five".
HaHa, that's cool Ravindra. We're at book eight and I have to say that for me, the series as a whole is the best children's book I've read so far. Very dynamic with vivid description of adventures and problems the kids face, while staying kid-friendly. The author is a very talented storyteller.
I just finished All The Colors of the Dark and just picked up Station Eleven from the library so I guess I am in between but there was not a lot of reading time over the last couple of days.
I have been trying to learn more about Ancient History so I am in the middle of both reading and listening to "The History of the Ancient World" by Susan Wise Bauer. I really need to move on to either the Egyptians or the Sumerians as I think starting with the Ancient Near East makes sense. I did dive into the Phoenicians for a bit because I spent a little time in Lebanon.
I am also in the middle of listening to "Thinking in Systems: A Primer" by Donella H. Meadows. I got this audio book on a whim to listen when I had some solo driving to do and now I need to get the book because I found it fascinating but hard to follow on audio.

I just started The Six-Figure Freelancer by Laura Briggs. I got it on my Kindle. I'd love to read other similar books if anyone has any recommendations.
Right now I'm getting into Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson and about to finish Dark Age by Pierce Brown, just 5 hours left in the audiobook. Will I sleep tonight? Who knows
I'm switching from The Koran and The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle.
I love the impact of these books because it keeps me grounded and my focus improved because every time I get sidetracked with what I'm doing... I just go back to thinking that what's happening NOW is my REAL Life anything after now is just a phantom. Should I choose to be distracted or enjoy making the best moments of my PRESENT. Which is all I really have. Hope you guys start reading it too!
Patriot by Alexei Navalny
It's as powerful as I expected.

Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
I just read Circe by Madeline Miller which I really enjoyed and it makes me want to try reading The Iliad again. I started Bel Canto by Ann Patchett and I am also enjoying it. I spent some time out on some land I own today burning brush piles and once they were burnt down enough all I had to do was wait to make sure so 81% done with it.
https://www.amazon.com/First-Kingdom-Max-Adams/dp/1788543475 a nice book about early middle ages in UK
