Thanks for starting a new Community Forum. I just signed up but used a suggested user name "mroen" instead of my Upwork Forum name Melissa R.

I am using my Upwork forum photo.

Tried to see if I could change my user name here on my profile and in settings but no joy. Anyone here have ay advice on how I can change my user name?

Melissa R Hey Melissa, sorry for the late reply. You can go to your profile > select "Controls" > "Edit" > update the "Nickname" field. Your nickname is the one displayed on your posts.

Nice to be here. While I don't often post, I've found the old Upwork forum a great resource in the two years I've been on the platform. Glad we have a new home.
I always enjoyed your insights. No nonsense--cut to the chase.
Just wish I thought to use my Upwork username instead. Darn it!

Hi! I joined hoping that this would be a community where I can contribute to thoughtful conversations. Original Upwork forums were too chaotic for my taste and Reddit is... fairly reddit-y.

I hope badge collection won't be compulsory this time...
