• Friday the 13th... what an apt date!

It would be funny if I wasn't the person with the mask today. Thanks Stan :)

Vladimir Was it your job to turn it off? It vanished at 10 am UTC and I think I managed to post the last ever post just before. :(

      What did you post, Petra?

It’s so sad that I didn’t even see it today before it shutdown.

Petra Well it's an unpleasant surprise that the switch was pulled earlier then expected!

I'm happy your is one of the final posts though.

Since there will be a lot of users unaware of what just happened and without a way to connect with others, or access previously available content, I'd like to ask everyone to consider sharing the link to this forum in your own channels.

Vladimir Hi thanks Vlad, yes I just saw that - the community forum gone now

Vladimir LOL, you must admit that if you saw the profile, I was showing restraint quite masterfully there. (Freelance "writer" in an Africa country, overview in completely broken English but fluent in Portuguese Sign Language apparently), a bargain at $50 an hour.

@Vladimir, now that the official forum has closed, will you hang around this one on a voluntary basis? BTW, thanks for everything.

elisa Hey Elisa, yes. I fully support this forum as a retreat for all ex-Community members and other freelancers. We'll also try to build on what was the Upwork Community. Participation on my end is on a volunteer basis.

It's fun that we're starting fresh and hope we all find our place, purpose and benefit in this forum.

Petra Again, it is such a boss Petra move to be Petra'ing up until the last second on a forum that banned you for years...

Vladimir I have to say in fairness, it's looking fairly slick and comprehensive over at the support.upwork.com space.

Sein Thanks! Djole is a magician and Stan and Morgan are also behind the scene.

The core value are the members and the conversations, so we're already at a good starting point.
