So early this week a client was talking about how some issues in government are possibly going to cause him some financial problems. The next day he wanted to meet with me and my business partner, we both assumed that this meant that he was going to shutdown what we were already working on, turns out we were right...

But for the wrong reasons, instead of doing that work he basically wants to redo an entire system (which we did not build). It is enough work to keep us busy for much of the next 10-12 months.

@Mark YAY!! I love when clients do that!!

My win: You guys! @Eve and @Mark in particular, tempted me into doing something I really thought I wasn't going to do... thought I was just wondering out loud... I upped my main rate on UW. And my view rate stayed excellent!

I also got an actual real live response to a proposal on UW this week (which didn't turn into a job, sadly)— it looks like there ARE some people on UW who aren't frightened away by my getting closer to a realistic rate for my 18+ years of experience.

sigh It was lovely. ❤️

Now it needs to turn into contracts. Because all the clickthrough rates in the world aren't what we want to measure if they don't turn into j-o-b-s!!

I just checked my profile and I finally hit the $100K mark for total earnings! That's exciting!

sudhirke Congratulations on all your wins! You've inspired me to get barefoot more often and rewatch the documentary on YouTube called "Earthing". Keep on winning, friend!

JessicaKay #barefoot is amazing, thanks for sharing the documentary. I didn't know about this documentary. I have personally experienced a lot of great things after going barefoot.

        • It improves your running/walking postures.
        • Our soles have 54 energy points, that gets stimulated when running/walking barefoot.
        • We get amazing power from direct connection with earth (most of us are either in shoes/ footwear most of the time)
        • Our soles adapt to the conditions very fast, so they are supposed to be harder.
        • It improves overall health.

Give it a try on a nearby park, barefoot is our natural way of moving

Mark Or broken glass on every park pathway, ouch...

Mark yes, you are right 😛, I am the one throwing legos in my house 😝😝😝

Kelly_E Kelly, I am running in the roads of India, US pathways are a lot safer
