Upwork bugs
I saw one of those earlier also. Was a new client. Seemed like could be another one of their bugs, but I only saw it on that one job.
These kinds of bugs clearly show that Upwork does not have any professional systems analysts and programmers.
In my support request, I see support requests from unknown people; Upwork's privacy is embarrassing.
Maybe stolen credit card or something like this

Can you actually access the ticket of just see it?
Edited: Actually that isn't someone else's ticket. That is a mass ticket to everyone who had a specific issue. Hence the "Tickets I am cc'd on".
Honestly, I’m not sure. I’ve never had issues with profile identification like the ticket in question. Yes, I can open it and read everything, and I also see attachments that the freelancer sent in the chat. Searching for the name, it seems like a real freelancer. I don’t understand why they copied me in on this.
Petra Honestly, after getting an email this morning saying that due to the recent cancellation, if the negative trend continues, they might block me from accepting new jobs, I’ve lost the motivation to contribute to the growth and improvement of the platform. I just hope it’s an automated message :/
