A win that will hopefully show itself later... for unknown reasons, I found quite a few really good-sounding jobs in my specialty this week on Upwork. I bet it's been six months since I've seen this many quality listings.
And I was able to send proposals without drowning, because for other unknown reasons, they didn't have 50+ proposals within 15 minutes. I got 50% views on what I sent this week, which is wildly above my usual (over the last 2 yrs), and while I haven't heard from any yet, getting clickthroughs is the first step so I'm still hoping to hear from some.
But if zero comes from this week... if it's just a sign of things to come and there are more quality listings than last year, and more views... that will pretty much automatically guarantee a better Upwork year.
I have my fingers crossed so hard I may break bones. ;-)
