7 months ago, I stopped fighting my grey hair and decided to grow it out. This week, I finally decided that it was long enough that I could cut off my hip-length hair and do a short grey hairstyle. Not sure if this is a win or not, but it feels great! Now I just have to work up the courage to change my photo here and elsewhere to reflect how I really look nowadays. 😅

Work-wise, two old clients resurfaced, so that's a win.

Eve Brave! I don't do fillers but everything else! So many things to be a girl lol. I always suggest hormones for older women to stave off the brain fog. Men too. Men and women lose testosterone and the lack of it kills motivation, makes you tired, and causes brain fog. You'll also sleep better.

This week generally sucked for me, but I finally built my new PC and upgraded my gaming PC. I suppose that could be a win.

I'm embracing my greys as well. Here's how I see it: It's an honor to age and not everyone gets to enjoy that honor.

Also, since I don't spend money dyeing my hair, I have money for more important things.....

like tacos. 😆 Really. I love my tacos!

Eve accepting oneself and going with the flow is the biggest win one can have. In fact primary reasons for gray hair is Stress and Hair Colours. It screws up all the hormones.

I had my first grey hair at the age of 16, trust me I am going backwards, I had more grey hairs in my 30s (I am in my 40s now) just because of good food, yoga and meditation. I have not coloured my hair for over a decade now.

TopRatedTroll You could try no hair, it's not as simple as you think but definitely less of a PITA.

TopRatedTroll Hopefully, I won’t need fillers for another couple of decades. After all, I’m still in my 30s (for 3 more months…) and my Asian genes should keep my skin smooth until I’m 65, if I age like my mom. But I found my first grey hair when I was 11, and now I’m 90% grey! So there’s no point fighting it anymore.

Only at the age when she published "Nothing compares to you". Just looked it up. That was in 1990. Gulp. When she got older it made her look really butch. It's "Sinead" - lovely Irish name.

One of my side hustles right now is selling printable educational resources. I had a record-setting day with 7 resources sold across two different platforms. It's not much, but it's my win!

I made several new connections on LinkedIn with really smart folks in my field, and had good conversations (but no jobs) with two employers on UW. It's been a long rough while but I'm trying to push myself harder so I can get some results!

Last week, I completed a Git and version control course, including lots of practice. I also finished the first part of a three-part React course. Feeling pretty productive, I must say! 😁

Tasks for the current week: stop being lazy and clean the gym so I can successfully enter the room!

Eve I decided to stop dyeing my hair during the pandemic and it's the best decision I've made in years 😁

MariaT Nice! I'm really enjoying my grey color as well. But I'm still trying to get used to the short haircut. Haven't had short hair for many years now. However, it's really nice that washing and drying it takes 5 minutes instead of 2 hours.

MariaT I'm gonna change my photo soon. Mainly because I do some Zoom meetings with clients, and my photo should probably look more like what they'll see when we meet. I just have to bother to do my make-up properly so I'm ready for a close-up.
