I wanted to start a slightly different topic. Who doesn't love a good roast? It's always a great way to share some laughs. I promise I can take it (not a snowflake). Here's my profile; go ahead and make me regret this decision 😁

P.S. On a serious note, I'd really appreciate any constructive feedback on my profile. I could use the help!

Djole It looks like you're doing really well on Upwork! Congratulations! I took a look at your profile and here are some ideas that I have:

Make your Profile Overview for all 3 profiles more customer-centric. You've got a lot of great skills, but communicate upfront how you can solve the problem for your client and make their lives easier. Also, maybe add a call-to-action (CTA) at the end of all of your profiles.
Can you max out the skills listed on your All Work profile? I think we can have up to 15. I also think that having those skills on your profile may make it easier to find you when clients are searching?
Add some more items to your portfolio. Also, for the description section in the portfolio, make it more customer-centric. Briefly explain what the problem/task was, how you solved it, and the impact it had on the client.

Overall, it looks great! Keep up the good work!

In the order I noticed:

Great profile pic, you look approachable and it's just a little different. Works for me
Too many sentences start with "I". Like @JessicaKay said, make it all more client-centric. What's in it for the client, how does the client benefit? What are the wins for the clients? How does what you do ´help the client achieve their objectives?
Watch your grammar. There are mistakes in your overview and whilst perfect English isn't needed for what you do, it does affect the overall impression, especially when you make a point of mentioning how good your English is. Its "I'm a Web and PHP Developer" rather than "I'm Web and PHP Developer" and the whole "English Degree" sentence needs to be rewritten completely. Maybe try "My English language degree ensures smooth communication and helps me understand the nuances of what my clients require" or something like that. The next two sentences could do with being rephrased as well.
Specialised profiles are better - just want a little more client focus as mentioned above.

@JessicaKay I can see what you mean by making it more client-focused. I'll work on rephrasing it to highlight how my skills can directly benefit potential clients. While I was a moderator, I knew so much, but that knowledge is either forgotten or no longer relevant. Didn't even know you can add 15 skills. I'll make sure to add more!

@Petra You are absolutely right about the grammar, especially while mentioning my English skills. The irony is rather strong on my profile 😁 Was much better before, but I simply stopped carrying about it. As long as we understand each other, that became good enough for me. Regarding portfolio, it definitely need some improvements so have to create and add stuff there! I'm not sure whether Upwork would allow me to add stuff I've created in the past years so have to check on that.

Once I do some improvements, I'll make sure to come back here and ask again!
