Top 27 freelancers page

I found a public page listing the top 27 freelancers for a specific skill, there seems to be many versions of the page, but there is one for Excel VBA developers. (link below) I understand it will be hard to find out why certain freelancers are on there but my 2 questions are....
1) Is there some type of vetted program to get on this page? I remember seeing some programs in the past to get expert vetted, but my skills were not a category back then & I think it was by invite only.
2) If its just an algorithim, do I need to have the title Excel VBA Developer on my profile? Its not all I do, so I'm hesitatnt to change, but everyone on that page has the same title but when I click into their profiles, it's not their exact title....
Probably a wild goose chase, just wanted to see if anyone had any info on these pages, thanks!!

Those are just landing pages and the freelancers who appear on them are rotated. So it changes all the time. You'll notice when you appear on them by a sudden spike in profile views on a particular day.

1) No, Just decent metrics
2) No, the title doesn't matter, just make sure you've selected the right skill tags.

I appear on several of these pages, there are sometimes local pages for these skills, you can check by adding the 2-letters country code of your profile location.

Your profile must be set to public to appear on these pages.

There are some "Best [x] on Upwork" pages about, and they are quoting feedback (with names!) without permission. It's a privacy/copyright violation.

Privacy violation: It's not. How is it any different than feedback being visible on a public profile? It's already set up in such a way that jobs that were posted as "Upwork only" do not appear on any public view (when not logged in). What is visible on those pages is no different to what is visible on a job post. As far as copyright is concerned, it's covered in the Terms of Service.

It is. I did not give permission for it to be posted on a webpage entirely unrelated to Upwork. Anything covered by the platform's ToS is fine by me, but I object to it being posted somewhere else without my permission.

How is it a website "totally unrelated to Upwork"? Can you show an example? Maybe I am looking at something different?

Also, if you read the ToS carefully, you'll be surprised what you consented to. I know I was. 😉

Petra It was a basic, orange page, but I can't find it now. Never mind. I can do with a bit of free advertising. I've also just seen myself on one of the official UW pages. Yippee! I just hope the rotation is real sloooo...www!
