How to Manage Visibility of Completed Jobs After Service Update

I recently decided to stop offering one of the services listed on my Upwork profile. While I’ve removed this service from my profile, I’m unsure how to manage the visibility of completed jobs related to this service.

Is there a way to hide or manage these completed jobs so that they no longer appear on my public profile? I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to handle this situation.

No, there isn't, but I really would not worry about it, clients won't mind.

Asi I agree with Petra. Changing the course of one's career either by upskilling or reskilling is not uncommon. As long as you update all sections of your profile (including skill tags, Portfolio, Catalog projects, edit selected categories in Setting etc.) you're good to go. I've done a similar transition since starting on Elance/oDesk and never had any problems. Note that you still might continue receiving invites related to the discontinued service.

I don't think it's possible but maybe someone more educated will correct me, I just never saw such option anywhere. I too removed some of my services (more precisely, the type of work I do from my portfolio, profile intro and keywords) but the jobs I did in that field are there in my work history. I personally don't mind that, long gone are days where serous clients took the time to look through the freelancer's profile and judge themselves if they want to discuss with/hire this person or not.
