Can we use a joint account to withdraw payments from Upwork?

I was browsing the Upwork forums and found conflicting answers.

So I need definitive advise whether or not joint bank accounts are allowed.

The account will be joint with my offspring, and I will be the primary account holder.

Yes you can. Your "offspring", however can't use Upwork unless and until they are 18 years of age.
