Upwork Notifications on Android

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with this?

Nameley, that for about 2 months now, I haven't been receiving them. Doesn't seem to matter whether I'm logged into the app or not.

Checked Notifications Settings in Android, nothing unusual wrt Upwork.

Which system version do you use? The new app needs 13 or higher, I think.

I'm on 10, but I just upgraded the app (didn't fix it).

I'll probably uninstall & re-install the app.

Robin I think the new app only works on Android 14 or higher. I remember having to buy a new phone because mine wouldn't update beyond 13.

Does seem to be fixed now as a result of upgrading the app.

Either that or I am only getting messages relating to active contracts, and not for direct messages / invitations.

(Wasn't getting notifications for this person's messages last week… difference is this week there is a contract; will keep my eye on this, might be a pattern; might be a bug in the Android app)
