This was the week my new system implementation contract started, after about a month between initial chat, second chat & offer.
A few weeks into it now and earning my top skill rate. Bit of a relief tbh. Back to the good stuff.
You gotta keep perservering. I won 4 contracts recently all at the same rate. 3 of them small stuff, bits & bobs, but good to have them in the background generating small amounts of work here and there whilst you're doing the bigger stuff on one or two other contracts.
This is a big part of how I'd seen my 2025 as being, but it took 4 or 5 months for it to kick in.
Apart from that I've done some really beautiful walking too in my last couple of locations. Enjoying combining the two…
