My job is to help create topics in Community, but one day I hope to grow up and be a sysop. What about you, what do you do?

I'm an audiobook narrator/producer, and voice actor. I'm also an actor with an IMDB page, and podcaster with a YouTube channel. I help authors make audiobooks, and collaborate with writers to tell funny stories about life and befuddlement.

Past careers: Retail, residential real estate agent in Illinois and Louisiana, area executive for March of Dimes and American Cancer Society, physician headhunter, background actor in films and TV. Went back to school in my 40's and got a paralegal certificate. I'm now a paralegal with 30+ years experience as such, freelancing for the past 10 years and specializing in medical record chronological summaries. And still available for work as background actor, which doesn't pay much but is so much fun!

Whew. That's exhausting.

Translator but in the past I have managed remote teams (Customer Service and Data Processing) and even further back I was in International Sales and Sales Management.

I burnt out and left the corporate world and tried different things for a few years before getting into freelancing.

Me—graphic design/ marketing & strategy/ copywriting for startups and small–medium businesses, under the umbrella of full-service Experience Design. About 18 years self-employed in this capacity; before that I worked as an interior designer (who occasionally got asked to work on the graphic and marketing end of things for clients). Once upon a time UW seemed like a really great arrow to add to my quiver... but lately, it just makes me quiver.

Kelly_E I think I remember you from back in the day but different picture. I just read your last post on the forum sounds like UW is not working for you anymore. I am still on the fence about it. I did not need it for a period of time but now I find I need it and it has been slow but not horrible.

Anyway—I'd love to get UW back to "not horrible." And I don't rule it out—it's still a giant in freelancing. But so much has changed over the last couple of years... I dunno. Keeping my eyes open!
