Upwork freelancers who use Wire Transfer to withdraw earnings from the platform pays $50 everytime they get reimbursed, the least frequent payment term is Quarterly.
If you prefer to skip getting paid this quarter to avoid paying the fees, wait until it is one day before the end of quarter and switch to Monthly (Every last Wednesday of each month), next week, switch it back to Quarterly.
This is especially useful if the amount is low (for example, if your earnings is slightly north of $1000 would mean you have to pay ~%5 even if you don't want to withdraw yet)
Keep in mind Upwork would remit your earnings no matter what if they exceed 6 months, so you cannot keep skipping remittance a quarter after the other, make your next quarter productive!
It also won't work when the last day of the quarter is also a Wednesday 😁
